Back in the day we had a saying.

Buy the computer you need now.  If you wait for the next greatest thing, you'll 
never get a new computer.

Still good advice.

As for anticipating the future, should all auto manufacturers plan now for 
counter-grav?  That's about the same as some of the comments I've read here.
