Much good code was written for the 8 that a business case could be made to move such to the 11. I'm sure there was more good code produced, but the stuff from MCBA comes to mind.

Having no experience with the PDP-8 I didn't know DIBOL started there.
My first DIBOL was DIBOL-11.  Maybe I had it backwards and it was RPG
that came out as an answer to DIBOL.
