I once thought about doing it for the P/370.
One reason for not doing it, is that 100Mbit Microchannel Ethernet
cards are hard to find, and apparently not that fast when you do
find them.  I also thought about FDDI, but didn't do that, either.

The P/370 I/O system is based on OS/2, which does have
support for NFS disks.
