Ok, I've been surprised before, and acknowledge that it can happen again.  But 
as I see things, there is no way the American voters will allow Trump to win any 
elections.  Yes, there are fools who worship him.  And there are reasons for that.

In 2016 the Democrats pushed Hilary Clinton on the voting public.  "We don't 
need you to get involved, we'll tell you who you're getting."  Well, that 
backfired on them and the voters decided that they would not be dictated to.

The problem is that the majority of Americans are neither interested in the far 
left policies of some, nor in the far right policies of others.  The Democrats 
pushed too hard, and got rejected.  Four years later Trump was shown to be a 
really bad idea and A really poor choice won the election.

Biden is a disaster, but, not as bad as Trump.  One would think that from over 
300 million people, the US could find someone better than those two.  So, you're 
right below when you claim that we are screwed.

The majority of Americans are in the middle, but the way things are set up, the 
fanatics seem to control the choices presented to the voters.
