Must have been a bad night ?. Anyway, I only bother learning about
design ideas and solutions that I respect. Gut feeling to start with,
but with some things, the more that one digs, the worse it gets.

The way that so much of the unix infrastructure has been replaced,
coercing the system to suit the needs of systemd, tail wagging the
dog, leaves so much open to new bugs and dependencies. Begs the
question, why, other than for future support for corporate
interests ?.
