There are been for the world decus, encompass, interex and connect.

In france connect was not possible for administrative purposes.

The major differences between VMSgenerations and ancestors has been: 
specialisation on VMS, independancy from the supplier (before that the 
clubs were depending from digital, compaq, hp).
