The message failed to be delivered. I tried to visit the site for the event http://www.wsd2000.org It also failed. I tried to visit the site for the club he is a member of, The Valley Trailers, to make contact with him there http://www.valley-trailers.org It also failed. Does anyone know if this project is still in the wings? That one is more serious, looking like an internet vulture swooped in to pick it up when it expired. I had that happen to a friend and we were able to rescue it. > Does anyone know if this project is still in the wings? None of what I said answers that question. But how many feel that a random person walking it off the street is immediately qualified to dance "club level" ? The same caution would be advised for amateurs trying to run Internet domains. Get a trusted (competent) friend to help you, not a company that might be trying to cheat you out of your domain name. -- Larry Kilgallen From bi434 at hotfootspin.com Sat Aug 30 10:41:40 2008 From: bi434 at hotfootspin.com (Karl Springer) Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2008 07:41:40 -0700 Subject: [Squaredancing] World Square Dance 2000 - initial contact In-Reply-To: <48B94283.6040104@ARRL.NET> References: Message-ID: <48B8F9B4.10399.22F76A@bi434.hotfootspin.com> On 30 Aug 2008 at 8:52 -0400, Mike Gormley wrote, at least in part: > I just tried to contact David Ameeti with the information > between the double lines. Give me the gossip! Hope it was good, but if not, it is better to be known than not. I think it was Will Rogers who said that if they spell his name right, it is all good. We are fine. We are waiting the arrival of Gustav. Should have no problems where we are, about 70 miles north of Houston--except for some rain,. but we are used to rain here in East Texas! We are the directors of Internation Publicity (DIP for short) and will leave for Europe in less than a week to visit a bunch of SD clubs and promote Long Beach. We will host a caller school on June 7-11 at our home in Texas. Already have 11 Chinese coming. More will come to the convention. We offer FREE lodging. Nasser and Doug Davis will teach it. Did you know they speak Chinese? Well, really they speak Square Dance. We are looking for someone to translate. When the caller school is over, we will send our Chinese off to LA by Amtrak. They leave here on June 13, spend 36 hours in transit to Union Station in LA. We need someone to meet them and shuttle them to Disneyland. Wanna have a good time big boy? Seriously, talk with your friends about it. Happy Dancing, Jim Pead In a message dated 8/31/2008 5:18:29 P.M. Central Daylight Time, Jryanvta at att.net writes: Hope you are doing well!!
