[Info-vax] Looking to find a way to pull all the Open Source / Freeware folks together

I see this problem from the potential freeware developers point of
view, which is that there is currently no coherent framework in place
which will allow developers to easily integrate new and existing
development libraries into their applications - rather than
reinventing the wheel from scratch. In the long run this causes a
snowball effect where there are more and more tools and libraries
available, providing the ability to create better applications in a
shorter timeframe.
