Thanks for the quick responses.

The DHCP server is a separate box to the gateway (which in this case
is a Draytek Vigor 2800 ADSL Router).

I run DECnet because I'm a member of HECnet - in this case Phase IV.

The ADSL Router also reports the original hardware MAC address in its
ARP cache: (even after restarting the router with the ZX6000 still
running):

S 192.168.1.230      00-30-6E-F3-2C-A5

I should point out that DECnet is started before TCP/IP. I've also
restarted TCP/IP after all this and it's not made any difference.
