Yep, so long as the driver supports it. I have had very good luck with these
particular USB -> Serial cables.

They have the advantage of not being expensive too.

I was thinking about this. One of the remaining uses for my VAX is
support of serial ports. Is it possble to use 2 of the 4 port USB to
serial adapters to get 8 serial ports on a Mac ?

Do you know if it supports 600 baud ?

This would come out cheaper and simpler than a terminal server since it
wouldn't need special software on OS-X applications since the serial
ports woudl appear as local serial devices (no need to have reverse
telnet etc).
