I use it with my Ubuntu laptop too. It works very well and has so
for a great many years.

Now, for JF's satisfaction, I setup a port on the DECserver-90M for
autobaud login. I thenplugged in the KeySpan adapter and issued:

$ cu -l /dev/KeySpan -s 600

I was able to log into the DECserver-90M and a show port confirmed:

Character Size: 8 Input Speed: 600
Flow Control: XON Output Speed: 600
Parity:                 None           Signal Control:        Disabled
Stop Bits:           Dynamic

It was fun to watch as the characters were slowly displayed on the
screen too. It was like watching WOPR's report of projected kill
statistics. :)
