The alternative is that you have a system wide memory shortage. In which case
choose one of:

1.    Reduce the memory footprint of your programs/run fewer concurrently
2.    Buy more real memory.
3.    Increase the pagefile size/ add additional page files.

SHOW MEMORY/PHYSICAL/FILE would be a start for an overview of
memory resources.
