   Did I say "/FULL"?

   On my system, there's a file,
SYS$COMMON:[SYSMGR]DECW$DEVICE_CONFIG_GQ.COM
which offers some hints as to which card(s) it might be used
with.  There's also a mention of "gq" in
SYS$COMMON:[SYSMGR]DECW$SPECIAL_AS1000_CIRRUS.COM
but I suspect that this would not apply to a DS10.
SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]SYS$CONFIG.DAT mentions "GQ" a few times,
too.  To me, these all look like cheap and nasty cards.

   SET HOST?  Telnet?  RSH?  SSH?  Serial terminal?

   You might even try "@ SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP RESTART"
before whacking the system completely.  But if you do shut it
down, I'd go for a complete power cycle, just in case the
hardware is in some odd state.

   I know approximately nothing about a DS10, but if you
unplug its keyboard and mouse, then It'd expect it to talk to
one of its serial ports, irregardful of what the console
setting is.  But I suspect that its console has a SET CONSOLE
command.
