You would win that bet if you could find anybody to take it!

A Laser Jet 4000 doesn't NEED a motor to open the cover!!!  Finger tip 
pressure is sufficient!

That technology has been obsolete for years!  I doubt if the 1403 
printers are still made!  I wouldn't be surprised if the last surviving 
specimen is in a museum somewhere!!
