I had to pause and consider that a moment. It brought to mind a line
from the "Rocky Rhodes" character voiced by Mel Gibson in the
clay-mation movie, "Chicken Run": when accused of lying, he said that he
simply "omitted certain truths".

HP did the same. They omitted mention of VMS in favor of HP/UX. That
was, as Roland put it, "the bait". The industry's "take" on it was:

"omission of VMS = VMS is EOL".

Not unreasonable - and probably intentional on HP's part, but not
entirely accurate at the time.

Now, it is not inaccurate.

Depends whether there is an option to work remotely and what the
associated travel requiremnets would be.

They list VMS, Multinet and Ingres. So, we know they're not talking
about a high transaction volume environment.
