[Info-vax] Python for OpenVMS VAX

I've combed the Internet hard for any information for this, and have
come up short.  I found the work that Jean-François has done, but I
was unable to acquire the source, as the link is dead on
vmspython.org.  If I could at least get the source for the AXP build
maybe I can get it to work on VAX.

Has anyone got Python (any version) working on the VAX, or know of
someone who has, or has worked on it?    My end goal is to have
Mercurial working on OpenVMS 7.1 VAX.  Any help would be appreciated.
