There's plenty of blame to go around.  I back up my PDA to my PC.  My PC 
  does a weekly backup to a LinkStation Pro.  It would take three 
hardware failures to make me lose all that stuff: PDA, PC, and 
LinkStation.  My cell phone is also backed up to my PC.
