That story started to circulate last week.

Going 128 bit for Windows 8 does not make sense.

My estimate says that Windows 28 will go 128 bit
(assuming that Windows exist at that time).

There are some speculation that the 128 bit being
mentioned is for the file systems.

In other words: Microsofts response to ZFS.
