You know, IBM ran television (and I believe radio commercials) several
years ago...after all of their little kid had friends Linux
commercials...stating...if everyone is running the same software, how
are they different?

I haven't seen those commercials in a while.

I do actually have one client paying seriously delusional dollars to
the Gartner Group for their typically useless advice...OK...for them
to hand over 4 color marketing glossies they were paid to hand out and
call "research"  ...  wink wink nod nod wink wink  ...   Anyway, that
client is bound and determine to slit the throat on the _only_
business advantage they have by replacing it with either a worthless
canned Siebel or IBM package...even though the group said software
runs is the _only_ profit center the company has historically had and
is the only division which will be profitable for the next two years.
