If this was an HP funded open source maintenance function, and the HP
employee who did that is no longer an HP employee, then it would be
normal for him to redirect ay equiries back to HP. If he doesn't know
who, within HP has been given his former responsabilities with regards
to the open source maintenance, then he can only direct people "vaguely"
to HP.
