If a HP employee used to provide an HP-approved service to the open
source community, and the employee was unceremoniously let go, and the
replacement employee in some distant continent was not given the
responsability to continue the open source support, then the original
employee has reasons to point fingers to HP and might be mad at the fact
that HP has abandonned a responsability it had agreed to take on.

(please note the liberal use of the IF statement above, since I don't
know what really happened).

And if the person against whome there seems to be a complaint is no
longer an HP employee, then HP has no reason to get involved and respond.

HOWEVER, if the *community* notices that HP has abandonned its support
of an open source project, then by all means, the community should task
HP to respon and explain its new situation and whether the community can
expect HP to resume support or not.
