A company that cannot earn a decent rate of return on its capital
investment is on its way to becoming history! And companies generally
cannot make that profit "at the expense of everything else". A company
can screw it's customers. Once! After that word gets around and the
company is history. Possibly the management may be history and the
company can survive.
