[Info-vax] Unix equivalent to SET HOST/DTE ?

It is "cu", which stands for "call up." It is available under MacOS, as well as Linux and almost all Unix variants. 


cu does not do terminal emulation, so whatever terminal you call from is what you get. There are several freebee terminal emulator packages you can use,
or else, just use a serial communications package from MacOS. (Don't forget, you do have remote desktop access. :)
