Pardon the commercial, but PreciseMail Anti-Spam is available for
OpenVMS, Linux, and Solaris.  It interfaces nicely with the RBLs,
has its own rules for dealing with spam, and nicely handles
non-existent accounts.

It's also available to Hobbyists.
