Because those who I work for are running VMS.
That's what currently pays my "food in the table".
And they are defenitely not using VMS for "everyday
work", if that implies common desktop "work". VMS runs
the production, nothing else.

This is not about VMS as such. It it about the proper tools
to read/write a newsgroup, and that has (today) very little
with VMS to do.
