   Things are getting clearer.  Seeing the recommendation for
Pgflquo = 50000, I reduced mine from 204800 to 102400 with
this result:

Apparently, I _had_ tried increasing Pgflquo, but only to
100000 (double the recently discovered recommended value), and
that was still too small.

   This could be related to my large SMTP.CONFIG file (not that
it changed during the OS upgrade), but with these fine
diagnostic messages, who knows?  I guess that I'll stick with
204800 for a while.
