Just so I understand correctly: it can handle a 30 gig drive, but can't
handle single files being larger than 4 gigs ?

So, if I wish to LD mount an NFS hosted ODS container file, there is a
limit of 4 gigs for the container file (and thus the LD disk). ?


I guess one option would be to use SIMH to run a VMS instance as a
cluster member at which point it can MSCP serve disks larger than 4 gigs.


Or resurrect my 10 gig SCSI drive that was in use on my MVII and plug it
into my 4000-600.
