What?? You don't remember MicroVMS? One of the great things about OpenVMS
is that you can develop software on a tiny MicroVAX or Alpha Workstation or
Itanium and deploy the code to gigantic clusters of powerful servers.
To fault Microsoft for taking a similar approach is just absurd.
