Depend what you mean with monitoring.
Try with Availability Manager. You can setup some alarms on events there. If 
you want to have automated HW error reporting, uss Remote Support Insight 
Standard client and WEBES on PC and ELMC (new name for WCCPROXY) and System 
Management Homepage on alpha.
