Sadly, it is. That does not mean that the behaviour is effective, or 
morally just, even if legally justified.

Big, stock-trading companies, when growing, lose their moral ground and 
therefore, IMO, their right of existence. Big hospital conglomerates 
stop to care about patients. Big banks give us the credit crisis. Big 
schools cannot deliver stable, educated yougnsters, Fusions and 
takeovers are never about the core business, always about moving money. 
Never about creating real customer value, always about creating 
stockholder value. That model is so 20th century...

I'm liucvky to live and work in an environment and a geography where 
people are starting to see this. Only starting, mind you...
