Market is somewhat influenced by marketing.

The VMS share of the relevant market which I will consider:
VMS + Tru64 + AIX + OS/400 (different name today) + Solaris +
HP-UX has dropped.

(it is not just that group that has lost market share to
Linux and Windows)
