[Info-vax] "retain on error" in print jobs

$ SHOW QUEUE/ALL/FULL <queue_name>

...will display more information. There should be a message or status
code displayed. This will help naarow down the possibilities.

Check also that your network is fully functional and that the print
target is functioning normally. Test it by some other means (you will
have to determine how - we don't yet have enough info to offer
suggestions).
