   I actually bought one of them a cheap PC running Windows XP, so 
   all of them could see how painfull it was.  I spent a lot of my
   own time keeping it clean enough to get through two years of high
   school.

   It's been running some variant of BSD for many years now, and its
   prior "owner" has a nice Mac.
