xCursion does nothing? It is an X11-display server like Xming or 
Reflection X, these are all X11-protocol based display servers. They 
accept commands from X11-clients like Xterm, Xclock, or even Xeyes. But 
there are also other useful X-client applications. Read up on X11 and be 
enlightened. Millions of *nix users can't be wrong, they use it all the 
time whether they know it or not.
