There is a store chain here that refills cartridges for you with their
own inks formulated to emulate major manufacturers. They also sell (if
you ask properly) the gizmo that resets the cartridges. It is a small
think probably with a pill battery inside which connects to the pinouts
for the cartridge and sends the right commands to reset it. You can then
refill it and insert it in the printer. (for me it isn an EPSON brand).
