You do get the annoying "extra bytes" warning message (because
HP doesn't do the suggested "zip -A" step when preparing the
SFX archive), but 11 seconds beats 26:

The profit is larger for those big patch kits.

   I haven't seen a real Software Library kit for a while.
When did they start putting compressed product kits on CD/DVD
media, preventing an installation direct from the medium?  It
makes sense for network distribution, but I'm not convinced it
was wise for a physical medium (even if it does conserve
polymers).
