This was executed from a normal user on node CHAIN.
-----------------
$ mc sysman
SYSMAN> set env/node=chain/user=system
Remote Password:
%SYSMAN-I-ENV, current command environment:
Individual nodes: CHAIN
Username SYSTEM will be used on nonlocal nodes
SYSMAN> do set term tta0/speed=9600/eightbit/perm
%SYSMAN-I-OUTPUT, command execution on node CHAIN
%SET-W-NOTSET, error modifying TTA0:
-SYSTEM-F-NOPRIV, insufficient privilege or object protection violation
SYSMAN>
---------------------
Is there a reason why they designed SYSMAN to not use the specified
username when executing on the local node ?
It is not very obvious when you specify a username that it would be used
on all other nodes except on the node where the command is being issued.
I realise things won't change about this, just curious about any history
behind that design decision.
