Apart from a minor bug fix around 1999 (2.4), The last major version of
FMS (2.3) dates back from late 1980s/early 1990s. FMS had been made
mature and not slated to be ported to Alpha. DECforms was the
replacement. The decision not to port FMS to alpha was reversed when the
ALL-IN-1 group pointed out that A1 was based on FMS and needed it.
But my question still stands: apart from VMS and its SIPs (like cluster,
shadowing and TCPIP services) and compilers, what layered products does
HP still actively develop for VMS ?
