Mounting would be nice, but not so important as the cable

I assume that there's a cute adapter between the exotic
cable and an ordinary optical drive. Is that true, or does the
drive itself have an exotic connector? If there's an adapter,
can you identify the thing?

Reasonable enough? Perhaps, but I have a tough time
justifying investing one-third the cost of the computer in a
DVD drive. (But I'm well known to be cheap and to have a bad
attitude.)
Another advantage of the zx2000 is the normal-size IDE hole
and the normal IDE cable.
