Just about any recent vintage 80-pin SCA SCSI disk will work in the
disk trays.  You need the 1" high ones, of course.  Make sure you
don't get a 1.6 HH disk.  Any Seagate starting with ST3 and ending in
LC or LCV works.

Sorry I don't know about the nose.  I have the RX2600's that are for
sale and they're pretty quiet - at least compared to everything else
in the rack with them.  DL360's and DL380s.
