I have made my attempt to configure the cluster and then applied the
hobbyist license for VAXCLUSTER, but when I login on the console I get the
following:
%LICENSE-I-NOLICENSE, no license is active for this software product
I am guessing that for some reason my VAX-VMS license is not valid as it
does not appear when I use SHOW LICENSE. If I do LICENSE LIST VAX-VMS I get
the following:
License Management Facility V1.2
License Database File: SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]LMF$LICENSE.LDB;1
Created on: 21-MAR-2009
Created by user: SYSTEM
Created by LMF Version: V1.2
-----------------------------------
Issuer: OPENVMS_HOBBYIST
Authorization: DECUS-USA-913283-1222035
Product Name: VAX-VMS
Producer: DEC
Units: 0
Version: 0.0
Release Date: (none)
PAK Termination Date: 14-JUN-2009
Availability: 0
Activity: A (VMS Capacity)
Options: NO_SHARE
Hardware ID:
Revision Level: 1
Status: Active
I suspect there is something wrong with this license but I don't know what
because the hobbyist program gives you a VAXCLUSTER license, so surely the
base OS license should work. What am I missing?
Thanks
Rob
