Well, if I had something polling vms like with ftp once a minute and
that generated a LDAP call,
then it would restart every 38 days or so 55000/60/24 = 38,2,
and if it had some users on it that would be less than 38 days. Maybe
the impact is small in restarting
the ACME server, its still a key component, especially if you extended
it yorself and didnt expect periodical
nonscheduled restarts. Now I dont not if ACME (Authentication
Credential Management Extension) is involved in just that example
or if FTP handles all authentication by its own,
our system gets about 400 logins in a months so normally this would
accur every 11,5 yers and that I can live with.
