Emulation. Please excuse me - I'm new to VAXen :-(

Yes, quite right, I was looking at the wrong part of the page
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/openvms_supportchart.html
  :-(

So, 7.3 then.

Amen to that!

I might be new to VAXen, but as an ex-System Manager on HP3000s, such
things are ingrained.

On the HP3000 list, we've been getting postings recently, along the
lines of 'I've just inherited this HP3000 - where do I start?'.

And here I am, doing something not too dissimilar on the VMS ng :-)

Though at least I know already how to negotiate HP's documentation site
- where rule 1 is that HP never learned that mentioning two things means
you only want the set of intersections, and not all of *both* sets.

(A problem that plagued all Internet search engines before AskJeeves,
though Google came along shortly afterwards and stole their thunder).
