I was about to suggest the same thing.
The OP can create an account on Eisner by telnetting to:
eisner.decus.org
and then following the instructions. (Telnet because there was an issue
with using SSH and null passwords a while back. I don't know if it was
ever resolved.)
BTW, does anyone have any public facing HGFTP installations which the
OP can test against ? (I don't recall seeing that mentioned yet.)
