Ooops, you are probably right. I have a KZQSA on my 3300, and although 
VMS "sees" and can use any drive connected to it, the console doesn't 
know anything about SCSI so can't boot from it.

I was confused because my other real VAX is a 4000-200 which can boot 
from SCSI without any problem at all.
