There is a "story"? Hard to tell, I usually stop reading a sentence into
his replies - because that is about the place he first makes some
over-the-top slanderous remark - usually attributing something he is upset
about to malice on the part of unidentified HP employees. Usually painted
in broad enough strokes that I assume that I am included as one of these
horrible people.
Yeah, I get that he is unhappy about the fortunes of VMS. That he is
unhappy about IPSEC. That he is generally an unhappy person. He is worse
than JF - who is more like Eyore in that the end is always at hand for VMS
or for Integrity (I think he has repeated that for at least a decade,
eventually it will have to come true).
But I'll tell you - there are people who stopped reading c.o.v. and some who
will never post here because of this guy. Nor do many people I know read
past the "from" line any more when they see it is from him. C.O.V. isn't
required reading, so who needs a thumb in the eye? Does he think Mark Hurd
reads this forum? Martin Fink?
