With good reason, I've always believed that the quality of VMS is matched
only by the quality of the user-base and that the cream will always rise to
the top (despite the incompetents of those running the show).
Unfortunately the problems facing VMS for the last 15 years are both
cultural and endemic.It's the same reason the Indonesian football league is
in the state it's in and why Indonesia never qualifys for the World Cup. The
best players are just never given a chance :-(
Yes, VMS is the best (unless you want cheapest) OS on the market and has
some of the best software. Sadly those with vested interests in shit
software winning the cup means VMS, Axis2/C, IPsec, and Tier3 have to take a
dive.
