You have to find the hard coded string in one of the VMS core
executables (possibly VMS.EXE) and patch it. Then you may have to
reboot to get it loaded. You just might be able to find it in RAM
and hack it there with a kernel mode routine.
And if you goof, you get a fatal bugcheck and may be get to try
again.
