How long did you wait ?

unpatched 7.3 has a "bug" during boote where it spends a lot of time
mapping some bits (forget the actual message) and this happens just
after that welcome message.

There is a patch that can be applied later which makes that process much
much quicker.


Note: when you install the B saveset, all it does is install a very
minimal, incomplete VMS. That VMS is configured to invoke s procedure
which completes the softwre installation, prompting you for the location
of the media, and then asking you questions about which options to install.
