isn't one of the problems with IIS its default config files, especially
mapping of mime types to file extension ?
(For instance, it used to serve just about eveything as
application/octet-stream because windows browsers just looked at the
last 3 letters of the URL to determine content).
I would think it should be possible to use ISS to serve W3.ORG compliant
pages wit the rigth mime types etc, but it would require work to undo
ethe bad defaults set by Microsoft.
